I’ve been juggling quite a lot the past few weeks and while I am an awesome (self-proclaimed) multi-tasker, the blogging part just had to take a back seat for a while. (Hence the lack of posts—but I know y’all understand, right? Lol.)
The plate was too full and blogging required more than half of my functioning brain cells so setting it aside for a while was definitely the right thing to do. Plus, the crappy Philippine weather was being extra lately and taking pictures of products proved to be more work than necessary (since I had to catch the sun and all; no to artificial lighting because I can’t afford it right now).
I went back to regularly doing my first love: journaling-slash-planning. And I’ve really been enjoying bullet journaling (it’s all the rage for millennials now) and I think I just found my perfect planner/journal fit (after years of scouring).
I’m also determined to finish (or maybe surpass—here’s to hoping) my 2017 goal of reading 40 books. I already read 13 before the first quarter of this year ended and I just finished my 14th a few days ago. And now, I’m halfway through Stephen King’s 11/22/63 (which I’m really loving, by the way).
And yaaas, I’m finally catching up on TV shows as well! A lot of the ones that I follow just came back for a brand new season (and more will be returning this month) so I’ve been pretty busy binge watching those. I also started new ones (The Good Doctor, Raven’s Home, and This is Us) and I also finished others that I still haven’t (That’s So Raven and Hannah Montana; yes, I’m a Disney freak baby) even after years of them being over.
Of course, I also have my 8-to-5 job that I have to constantly worry about (because what is life without a regular income) so there’s just a lot, really.
Hopefully, the weather cooperates in the next few days because I have a lot of blog post ideas in mind and most of them are makeup reviews, or at least makeup-related, so I need the bright shine of Mister Sun for an effective product photo shoot.
Also, I can’t believe that it’s less than 100 days away from Christmas and New Year. Wow. How’s life been treating ya?
Juggling life is really hard and I feel that. Just subscribed today because I love the past posts and the recent ones. I am nowhere Filipino, but I’m learning bisaya (Cebuano) because of family. I enjoy the reading goals and I hope you get more time for what you love to do. Disney freak!! ahaha Salamat for posting. CDO adventure was crazy, I can relate to the weather. Have a good day!

Oh, thank you 🙂 How and why Bisaya? Is there a Cebuano relative? Pero kasabot na ka o gamay lang? (Lol I speak a little bit of Bisaya, too.) 😉

Since I have family that all lives in CDO and in Manila, I choose to speak bisaya because the majority of them live there. Planning on switching schools from the US to CDO for the experience, culture, and personal reasons. Ako nakasabut og gamay (If that’s the right response) ahah

Go for Filipino, too. But once you get the hang of Bisaya, learning Filipino is going to be a lot easier. 🙂 And yes! I’m excited for you 🙂 Hahaha that’s sort of right, I think. I’m not a native Bisayan speaker so I can’t say for sure but I think it’s right? Lol

Magcocomment rin sana ako about your theme!! Hahahaha. Inggit ako, parang ang dami mong time to read books, watch tv series, tapos may job ka pa!
Natutulog ka pa ba Ate? Hahahaha

Hahaha. Sapat na ang 4 hours na tulog sakin :p Pag uwi sa bahay, nanonood ako and at the same time, bullet journalling. Sa office naman, work and at the same time, I read plus I blog. Pag may extra energy, I watch and bullet journal, too. Hahahaha multi-task talaga. :p
PS. I really like the theme I have now. Sana matagalan bago ako magsawa. Lol

Ate, you changed your theme again. I just noticed it now. Hahaha! I’m so loving it. Life is pretty crazy, too. But I’m really enjoying the crappy weather, I’m sorry. HAHAHA! I’m so behind my reading challenge I dont think I can catch up 😦 and Goodreads won’t let me sign in because I don’t have my Facebook. Shame.

Yes, I did! Hahaha. I often do. Di ako mapakali sa theme e. :p Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying the crappy weather, too, but it’s not good when I want to take photos as I only rely on the Mister Sun for proper lighting. Hahaha.
Aww, really??? Sayang naman. 😦
